Surrogacy Agreements
A detailed agreement is imperative in determining the rights and responsibilities of both the surrogate and intended parents. Each party should have an attorney. Attorney Butler represents parties in the drafting and negotiation of Gestational Surrogacy Agreements, Traditional Surrogacy Agreements and Preplanned adoption agreements throughout the state of Florida.
Egg Donation
Florida law allows a woman to donate her eggs for reasonable compensation. She shall relinquish all maternal rights, obligations, and responsibilities to any child born from the donation. Attorney Butler drafts and reviews egg donation agreements on behalf of either party, this is imperative to establishing legal rights and boundaries.
Assisted Reproductive Technology

Attorney Butler assists both sperm donors and Intended Parents in executing a Sperm Donation Agreement that outlines rights, responsibilities and expectations of both parties, The agreement also memorializes expectations as they relate to confidentiality and finances.
Same Sex Couple Representation
As an ally of the LGBTQIA community, Attorney Butler understands both the unique legal and personal considerations that come into play when deciding to create a family. Attorney Butler will draft egg or sperm donation agreements and surrogacy agreements for same-sex couples and proceed in court appropriately.
Embryo Donation
Embryo Donation is a service whereby parents donate unused embryos to others who are interested in starting or growing their family. Attorney Butler protects the rights of both Donors and Intended Parents by drafting and reviewing contractual agreements that outlines the rights and obligations of the parties.
